The 7th ICC world cup 1999 was hosted by the England, and lord’s was selected 4th as the final match venue. The final match is played between the Australia and Pakistan, before this both the teams are won the world champion title one-one time. Pakistan became the world champion in 1992, and Australia won the title in the 1987. In 1999 world cup final Pakistan won the toss and chooses to bat first. Pakistan didn’t get a good partnership throughout the innings and the whole team will be all out on just 13 runs. Ijaz Ahmed was the only player who scores the 20+ runs in the Pakistan innings. This was the lowest total for any team in the history of the world cup final, and it was the easy target for the Australian strong batting line-up. Australia chased this easy target in just 20.1 overs by losing 2 wickets. From the Australian innings openers Mark Waugh and Adam Gilchrist almost chase the half of the target.
